The Office of Veterans and Military Affairs is responsible for providing students with information regarding education benefits programs, assisting in the processing of benefits and reporting of data to the federal government. The Office of Veterans and Military Affairs processes claims electronically to the Regional Processing Center in St. Louis, MO. We encourage veterans or active military to contact our office in person, by phone or email with any questions regarding education or benefits.

On behalf of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS), the Office of Veteran and Military Affairs would like to welcome you to the University. The University of Colorado at Colorado at Colorado Springs is one of the top public universities in the Western United States, according to the editors of U.S. News and World Report. At UCCS we understand that choosing the right institution to meet your educational needs is very important. This includes choosing the right program, having a variety of classes available, (day and evening) and having your questions regarding your educational benefits answered. UCCS and the Office of Veteran and Military Student Affairs are dedicated to assisting you with your educational needs.
UCCS offers 25 Bachelor’s degrees, 18 Master’s degrees and three PhD programs. There are six academic colleges on campus: Letters of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering and Applied Science; Beth-El Nursing; Education and Public Affairs. UCCS is an active campus with lots of learning opportunities.
The programs at UCCS offer hands-on experiences, state of the art technology, field work and internship opportunities as well as leadership opportunities.
The Office of Veteran and Military Student Affairs (OVMSA) assists veterans, active duty, military families and others eligible for Department of Veterans Affairs education benefits and tuition assistance.
