Jenny earned her PhD in algebraic topology from Northwestern University. Her current interests include geometry, differential geometry, and the history of mathematics. She loves working with students, and invites you to drop by to talk any time.

Michael has a bachelor's degree in mathematics from San Jose State University and a master's in mathematics from UCCS. After spending many years in industry, he enjoys studying and teaching mathematics.

Nathan is currently working towards a bachelor's in computer science. He is especially interested in cryptography and encryption algorithms.  In mathematics, he particularly enjoys methods of integration and vectors. He loves to encourage and help people, especially with math. Outside of school he enjoys hanging out with friends.

Casey is a third year math and physics double major, working towards his bachelor’s in both, and would eventually like to get a master’s and doctorate in both fields. He is especially interested in theoretical physics and likes to work on cosmology and relativistic problems. Outside of school, he dedicates his time to the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, fencing, and traditional archery.

Jon is a junior physics major. His goal is to do research in solid state physics. He enjoys helping students in all levels of math, and using examples from the sci-fi universe to make physics and math exciting topics of discussion. His dream is to create an anti-gravity device that will be used to launch space structures and space craft.

TK is an undergraduate in applied mathematics with an emphasis in physics. His favorite areas of math are differential geometry, ordinary differential equations, partial differential equations, and complex analysis. His favorite areas of physics are astrophysics and wave mechanics. His goal is to become a math or physics professor at a university nearby some mountains. Other than math and physics, TK plays guitar, goes hiking, does (traditional) archery, paints miniatures, and plays shooting and strategy games.

Austen is an undergraduate majoring in mechanical engineering, with minors in mathematics and aerospace engineering. He looks forward to pursuing a career in the aerospace industry. He enjoys mathematics and what can be accomplished by understanding numbers. Outside of school, Austen loves to be outdoors during any season and to play video games when he has free time.

Kevin is a senior mathematics major, with a minor in philosophy, emphasizing logic. He particularly enjoys areas of math dealing with algebraic manipulation and multi-variable calculus; other interests include gastronomy, epistemology, and game theory. Apart from academia, Kevin enjoys camping, satire, the eating of good food, music, and relaxing with friends.

Carl has a BS in physics, and is currently a graduate student pursuing a ME in space operations. He plans to pursue a PhD in theoretical astrophysics. His favorite areas of math are calculus and algebra. When not tutoring students in the Math Center, in class, or with his nose in a physics book, he enjoys playing  bongos, the violin, the piano, and riding motorcycles, among other things.

Henri is from Cameroon in Central Africa, where he earned his BS in computer science. He has taught high school math in Cameroon, and French at Cheyenne Mtn HS. He is currently completing his master's in applied math, and plans to pursue a PhD in mathematics, then return home to use his knowledge to help others.  He loves math, and loves learning from students that he works with. Outside of school, he plays, watches, and referees soccer. He speaks five languages (Vute, Gbaya, Fulfulde, French, and English), some more fluently than others!

James is a senior majoring in mechanical engineering with minors in mathematics and aerospace engineering. He likes to point out that he would never before have thought that he would be pursuing this course, and that he has only made it this far by the help and encouragement of others. He wants you to know you can do it, too! Apart from school, he likes indoor and outdoor soccer, mountain biking, chess, photography, and skiing.

Ryder is an undergraduate studying mechanical engineering. He is qualified to help with math and physics, but is also willing to help with things he is not qualified for, such as philosophical conundrums and wilderness survival tactics. Ryder would like to design inventions and write fantasy novels. He plans to pursue a master's in mechanical engineering and continue tutoring after graduation.

Jonathan is a senior working on his Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Applied Mathematics. He enjoys helping students translate from gibberish to math to English to math again in the Math Center. He hopes to earn his Doctorate degree in physics, after taking a few years off from school to focus on his competitive ice dancing career.

His interest is in electromagnetics and he has been researching plasma antenna with Dr. Song. He likes playing volleyball, ping pong, and watching soccer.

Joe is a senior computer science major with a minor in mathematics. He works at UCCS part time as a Computer Science tutor, and at United States Air Force Space Command as a Computer Scientist. After graduation, He plans to pursue a Ph.D. in computer science and to seek permanent employment with the military. Joe enjoys sharing the knowledge and experience he has gained over the years in his field, and he invites anyone with a question to stop by the center and ask.

Irving is pursuing a master's in Computer Science, having previously earned a master's in Applied Mathematics. His current work is in using color and movement to create interactive soundscapes, and researching A->D/D->A conversion using PWM.He likes hiking, lighting LEDs with mu-controllers and is also the lead singer and bassist in a blues/rock band.
