Jenny Dorrington Director Jenny earned her PhD in algebraic topology from Northwestern University. Her current interests include geometry, differential geometry, and the history of mathematics. She loves working with students, and invites you to drop by to talk any time. 

Sean Dean Sean has his bachelor's in biology, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in student affairs in higher education. Sean has extensive experience as an SI leader, and is now back in the center as our student assistant SI supervisor. 


Jenna Tande Front Desk Jenna is a sophomore business major, who enjoys helping people become acquainted with the Math Center. She can personally attest to the fact that math gets easier the more you do! 
Diana Gronski Diana is a junior mechanical engineering major. She has been working at the front desk of the Math Center for two semesters. 

Reece Adragna Reece is a graduate student in mathematics, who has led SI sessions for two semesters. He also teaches in the math department. 
Heather BalleMason Electrical Engineering Tutor Heather is a senior EE major. This is her first semester helping students in the center.

Dominique Brasee Supplemental Instruction Leader Dominique is a math major with a minor in finance. This is her first semester as an SI leader. 
Mike Bultmann Statistics Tutor Mike is a graduate student in psychology. He has a lot of experience working with applied statistics, and is happy to help students in psychology, education, health science, and any field that uses statistics.

Chris Everhart Chris is junior mechanical engineering major. This is his first semester tutoring math in the Center, but has a lot of experience helping students one on one. 
Lori French Supplemental Instruction Leader & Project Success Tutor Lori is a senior math major who has run SI sessions for several years. She is one of our most experienced SI leaders. 

Ralph Galega Project Success Tutor Ralph has his bachelor's in biochemistry, and is currently working on his master's degree in the same subject. He has been tutoring math for almost four years. 
Jonathon Giardina Math & Physics Tutor Jon is a junior physics major. His goal is to do research in solid state physics. He enjoys helping students in all levels of math, and using examples from the scifi universe to make physics and math exciting topics of discussion.

Jessica is a senior math major who has been helping students formally and informally for several years. This is her second semester tutoring in the Math Center.

Jewell Anne Hartman Math & Physics Tutor Jewell Anne received a BS in physics and a BA in from UCCS. Currently she is a PhD student in physics specializing in Metamaterial Optics & Nanotechnology. Jewell Anne is currently teaching both math and physics. 
Jesse Heacock Jesse is a senior mechanical engineering major minoring in mathematics. His favorite area of math is Calculus 3, although he really enjoys helping students in precalculus and algebra. Jesse has been a tutor in the Math Center for three semesters. 


Veronica Ingwersen Math Tutor
Veronica is currently working towards her bachelor's degree in nursing. She loves helping others, especially with math. She has been a tutor in the Math Center for over four years. 

Caroline Kellackey Math Tutor Caroline has a bachelor's degree in engineering and is currently working towards a master's degree in applied mathematics. She enjoys helping students at all levels, and especially enjoys the challenge of moving from subject to subject while helping in the Center. 

Chris Malec Computer Science Tutor Chris is a graduate student in computer science. This is his second semester tutoring CS in the center. 

Bradley Malton Electrical Engineering Tutor Brad is a senior EE major, and our first incenter Electrical Engineering tutor. 

Kevin McCaw Kevin is a senior mathematics major, with a minor in philosophy, emphasizing logic. He particularly enjoys areas of math dealing with algebraic manipulation and multivariable calculus; other interests include gastronomy, epistemology, and game theory. 
Colleen Monahan Supplemental Instruction Leader Colleen has her bachelor's degree in biology, and is back at UCCS filling in some prerequisites for graduate school in biomedical engineering. She taught high school for two years, and this is her first semester as an SI leader. 

Carl Monroe Math & Physics Tutor Carl has a BS in physics, and is currently a graduate student pursuing a ME in space operations. He plans to pursue a PhD in theoretical astrophysics. His favorite areas of math are calculus and algebra 

Tom Moore Math Tutor Tom is a senior majoring in mathematics and physics. He enjoys all areas of Calculus, especially those that can be used to help visualize a problem. In addition to working in the Math Center, Tom does research and experimental work in physics. 

Henri Ndaya Henri is from Cameroon in Central Africa, where he earned his BS in computer science. He recently earned is master's in mathematics from UCCS. He plans to pursue a PhD in mathematics, then return home to use his knowledge to help others. He speaks five languages (Vute, Gbaya, Fulfulde, French, and English), some more fluently than others! 
Keri Ornelas Supplemental Instruction Leader Keri is a math major who has led SI sessions for two semesters. She is pioneering our online SI sessions this semester for the Number Theory class. 

Jacob Paterno Math Tutor Jacob is a math major who is in his second semester as a tutor in the center. 
Matthew Phelps Math & Physics Tutor Matthew is a senior physics major who intends to continue his studies in graduate school. Matt has been tutoring in the center for three semesters. 

Paul Pinchuk Math & Physics Tutor Paul is a physics major minoring in math. This is Paul's first semester tutoring in the center. 

Slade Rodrigues Math Tutor & Supplemental Instruction Leader Slade is a math major, minoring in math and aerospace. He has been an SI leader for two years, and recently began tutoring math in the center as well. 

Sarah Ruether Math Tutor Sarah is a graduate student pursuing a master's in applied mathematics. This is Sarah's first semester tutoring in the center, in addition to teaching classes in the math department.

Irving Rynning Computer Science Tutor Irving is pursuing a master's in computer science, having previously earned a master's in applied mathematics. His current work is in using color and movement to create interactive soundscapes, and researching A>D/D>A conversion using PWM. 

Meral Sarper Meral is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering with minors in aerospace and electrical engineering. She loves astronomy and hopes to be an astronaut one day. She enjoys all areas of mathematics with a passion, but her favorites are algebra, trigonometry, and integration, as they are the most applicable to the real world. 
Rebekah Schroetlin Supplemental Instruction Leader Rebekah is a biology major who joined us as an SI leader for Calculus 1 last year. 

James Sibert Math Tutor James is a senior majoring in mechanical engineering with minors in mathematics and aerospace engineering. He likes to point out that he would never before have thought that he would be pursuing this course, and that he has only made it this far by the help and encouragement of others. He wants you to know you can do it, too! 
Sarah Simko Supplemental Instruction Leader Sarah is a junior business major who has run SI sessions in College Algebra since last year. 

Tori Slattum Math Tutor & Supplemental Instruction Leader Tori is a senior math major who has run SI sessions for two years. She has tutored in the center for two semesters, and enjoys helping students in any subject. 
Travis Smith Math Tutor Travis is mechanical engineering major minoring in electrical engineering. This is his second semester tutoring math in the center. 

Audrey Szarka Supplemental Instruction Leader Audrey is a senior math major with an emphasis in education. She has run SI sessions for two semesters. 
Ryder Tam Math & Physics Tutor Ryder is an undergraduate studying mechanical engineering. He is qualified to help with math and physics, but is also willing to help with things he is not qualified for, such as philosophical conundrums and wilderness survival tactics. He plans to pursue a master's in mechanical engineering and continue tutoring after graduation. 

Sara Welton Math Tutor Sara is a math and physics double major. This is her first semester tutoring in the Math Center.
