College Algebra

Start with the Placement Exam for College Algebra. 

  • If you score 50% or above enroll in College Algebra.
  • If you score below 50% take the Placement Exam for Math 099.  If you score at or above 80% enroll in Math 099, otherwise enroll in Math 090.

Start with the Placement Exam for College Algebra.

  • If you score 87% or above, take the Placement exam for Business Calculus.  If you score 50% or above on the Business Calculus Exam, enroll in Business Calculus.  If you score below 50% on the Business Calculus Exam, you should register for College Algebra.
  • If you score above 50% and below 87% on the College Algebra Placement test register for College Algebra.
  • If you score below 50% take the Placement Exam for Math 099.  If you score above 80% on the 099 test enroll in Math 099, otherwise enroll in Math 090.

  • If you score 87% or above, take the Placement exam for Calculus.  If you score 50% or above on the placement exam for Calculus, enroll in Calculus.  If you score below 50% on the Calculus exam you should enroll in Precalculus.
  • If you score above 50% and below 87% on the Precalculus placement test you should register for Precalculus.
  • If you score below 50% on the Precalculus placement test you should take the College Algebra placement exam.  If you score above 50% on the College Algebra Placement test you should register for College Algebra.  If you score below 50% on the College Algebra Placement test you should take the test for Math 099.  If you score above 80% on the Math 099 test, you should register for Math 099.  If you score below80% you should register for Math 090.
