Admission for International Applicants  -- Apply Online!

An applicant for admission as an International student for the Department of Mathematics at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs must submit the following Documents to the Mathematics office at the address below:

  1. A completed International Graduate Student Application, available online

  2. A Financial Statement for International Students form with the required documentation

  3. A $100.00 non-refundable application fee, can be paid online. 

  4. 1 Official Transcript from each college/university attended. 

    Note: Received transcripts should all be translated by an official agency that is approved under NACES (National Association of Credential Evaluation Services;

  5. 2 Letters of Recommendation for MS and MSc tracks. 3 Letters of Recommendation for the PhD track.

  6. If your native language is not English then you must demonstrate your proficiency in English.  The English proficiency requirements for the graduate mathematics programs can be found at:

    Note: Conditional acceptance will NOT be granted for students who do not meet the English Language Requirements set forth by the University and the department.  

  7. An application for a Graduate Teaching Fellowship  if you are requesting financial assistance from the department

Completed applications (including all supporting documentation) should be submitted 60 days prior to the term for which admission is sought, although applications are reviewed on a continual basis and will be considered if this deadline is not met.
