English Proficiency Requirements

  • All students applying to any of the mathematics graduate programs at UCCS, whose native language is not English, must demonstrate their English language proficiency through one of the following three means before they are able to enroll in classes at the university:

  • Students are exempt from the English language proficiency requirement if they meet any of the following conditions:

    1. A bachelor's degree from a US accredited institution where teaching is done in English.

    2. If the student is a citizen of a country whose first/official language of instruction is English and the student has completed undergraduate work in that country.
