Rebecca Webb received a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island in 1998. Her MS degree is from Pennsylvania State University, where she worked as a member of the Electrochemical Engine Center. In between her MS and PhD Rebecca worked as a R&D Engineer at Agilent Technologies. She received her PhD from Oregon State University in 2005. At Oregon State, Rebecca worked in the microscale thermal-fluids area investigating two-phase flow in microchannels.
Dr. Webb's research area is the Thermal Fluid Sciences with a focus on microscale heat transfer and fluid mechanics. Her work is a combination of experimental and computational studies. The primary goal of her research is to find ways to make existing systems more efficient and therefore, more sustainable. For current research projects, see Dr. Webb's website.
