You may contact the Reference Desk or a librarian for your research needs. Learn more about Research Help.

Access to Electronic Resources

As a currently registered extended studies student at UCCS, you can access Library databases or journals from a home or office computer by using the Library VPN.

Access to Collections in the Library

You can search the Kraemer Library Catalog any where. If you find an item you would like to borrow, you have the option of picking it up in the Library or having it delivered to you for a fee.

Coming into the Library

Extended Studies students may request a UCCS library card from the Circulation Desk. With this card, you have access to all the Library's print collections and services. You also have access to Prospector to borrow materials from any of the libraries in the Prospector catalog. Prospector materials will be available for pick-up at the Circulation Desk.

Book Delivery

For a fee you may request home delivery of books and journal articles from the Library print collection or from Prospector. Please email your request to refdesk@uccs.edu

First Class Mail $5.00 per book
First Class Mail or Fax $5.00 per print article up to 15 pages. Additional pages $.15 each.
First Class Mail or Fax $10.00 per microform article up to 15 pages. Additional pages $.50 each.
Federal Express available if prior arrangement is made

Interlibrary Loan

If the Kraemer Family Library does not own the book or journal you need, you may request it online via Illiad. Please allow at least two weeks to receive.

Most articles are available in a digital format through Illiad. If you requested an item like a book or movie, it will be available at the Circulation Desk for pick-up. If you wish to have materials delivered to your home for a fee, please indicate this in the "notes" field of the request form. Delivery fees are listed above.
