Getting to Campus From the North
Take I-25 South to the Garden of the Gods-Exit 146. Turn left to go under I-25 and follow Garden of the Gods Road. Garden of the Gods Road turns into Austin Bluffs Parkway at the Nevada Avenue intersection; continue up the hill and you will see the university on your left.

 

Getting to Campus From the South
Take I-25 North to the Garden of the Gods-Exit146. Turn right, following Garden of the Gods Road east. Garden of the Gods Road turns into Austin Bluffs Parkway at the Nevada Avenue intersection; continue up the hill and you will see the university on your left.

 

Parking

You'll have several parking options. This map will highlight the different parking areas available on campus.

Free Off-Campus Parking at Four Diamonds
You can park for free in the Four Diamonds lot which is located on the west end of campus off N. Nevada Ave. The University provides a free shuttle service from this lot up to main campus and will drop you off at the University Center where the conference is being held.

Getting to 4 Diamonds Parking Lot From the North
Take I-25 South to the Garden of the Gods-Exit 146. Turn left to go under I-25 and follow Garden of the Gods Road east (away from the mountains). Travel about .6 miles and then take a left onto N. Nevada Ave. The 4 Diamonds parking Lot will be on your right about .5 miles down N. Nevada Ave.
 
Getting to 4 Diamonds Parking Lot From the South
Take I-25 North to the Garden of the Gods-Exit 146. Turn right, following Garden of the Gods Road east (away from the mountains). Travel about .6 miles and then take a left onto N. Nevada Ave. The 4 Diamonds parking Lot will be on your right about .5 miles down N. Nevada Ave.

Main Campus Parking
All visitors parking vehicles in the main campus lots must pay to park. There are pay stations located on the 3rd level of the Parking Garage and in Lots 1 & 8. Parking in the garage is a "pay-by-space" system, whereas parking in either Lot 1 or 8 is a "pay-and-display" system. These pay stations accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, as well as bill denominations up to $20.00. The rates for visitor parking are as follows:

  • $2.00 per hour
  • $10.00 per day maximum

Another parking option for visitors wishing to park on main campus is to purchase a One Day Visitor Permit. This permit allows you to park in any HUB parking lot on campus. The cost of this permit is $10.00 and may be purchased from Parking Services, located at the east end and adjacent to the Parking Garage on the first floor. There is 15 minute parking available right outside the Parking Services Office that you can park in while you go in to purchase your one day permit.

Getting to the Main Campus Lots From the North
Take I-25 South to the Garden of the Gods-Exit 146. Turn left to go under I-25 and follow Garden of the Gods Road east (away from the mountains). Garden of the Gods Road turns into Austin Bluffs Parkway at the Nevada Avenue intersection; continue up the hill and you will see the university on your left. The first UCCS entrance with the roundabout (second stoplight after Nevada) provides convenient access to the parking garage or lot 8. The second roundabout (third stoplight after Nevada) provides convenient access to lot 1.

Parking for those Staying Overnight in the Dorms
If you are staying overnight in the UCCS Dorms a parking permit which is valid for the duration of your stay is included in the cost of your room. You will be issued the permit upon check-in and must have it displayed in your car at all times.

Navigating the Campus

The conference will be held in the UCCS University Center, which is located in the central part of campus. Enter through the east doors of the building with the clock tower. The June 9th preconference session will be held in the UC Theater, room 302. The main conference session will be held in Berger Hall, which is located on the second floor of the University center.

The Information Desk is located on the ground floor of the University Center. The can provide you with directions to the conference rooms as well as information about the city of Colorado Springs.

 

Overnight Accommodations

On-Campus Accommodations

Conference participants can stay overnight in the UCCS campus dorms. Rates for on-campus accommodations are:

  • $58.00 per person per night for a single, private room
  • $48.00 per person per night for a double occupancy room

UCCS Coffee Shop
The UCCS coffee shop is located on the second floor of the University center. They have a grab-n-go lunch menu that features sandwiches, wraps, and soup.

To get to the University Village head west on Austin Bluffs Parkway, then turn right at the bottom of the hill onto North Nevada Avenue. The plaza will be ½ mile down on your left.
