Registration for Summer 2014 credit will begin on March 31, 2014!
HOW TO OBTAIN UCCS CREDIT FOR INTRODUCTION TO GLOBAL STUDIES
FIRST: Make sure you have registered with Global Works Travel for your travel course.
SECOND: Download the registration instruction document. This document will provide you with step-by-step instructions for applying to the Extended Studies Program and accessing your myUCCS student portal account, where you will register and pay for your course credit. Cost is $486 for 3 credit hours. Deadline to register for Summer 2014 credit is June 25, 2014. Application and registration can take 2-3 business if you are brand-new to the UCCS system, so please make sure to start the process early. Late registrations may be accepted after the registration deadline; however, a $25 late registration fee will be assessed on all late registrations. Contact LAS Extended Studies if you need to register late. (Note: this course is offered every semester.)
THIRD: Download the syllabus for Introduction to Global Studies, WEST 2900. You will be responsible for completing the coursework outlined on the syllabus. COURSEWORK DUE DATE FOR SUMMER 2014: JULY 25, 2014.
FOURTH: Approximately 4-6 weeks after the conclusion of your course, your grade will be posted to your UCCS transcript. To request your official UCCS transcript, go to the Transcript Request Page for instructions.
