Mountain Lion Pep/Concert Band - MUS 2210

This unique ensemble is a hybrid concert band / Pep Band. A concert band by day throughout the school year focusing on a broad range of repertoire, this ensemble transforms into the UCCS Pep Band during basketball season. Several scholarships are awarded for Pep Band participation during basketball season.

This ensemble will take place on the UCCS campus during the Fall 2013 semester. Meeting room is in University Hall, Room 168. Meeting time is Wednesday from 6:05 to 8:45 pm. Fall 2013 semester dates are August 26-December 21, 2013. Members of the public are welcome to register and join in!

Instructors: Sondra Bell and Mark Israel, UCCS Department of Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA)

This course earns one (1) semester hour of VAPA Department credit (MUSIC designation) at the undergraduate level. Cost is $268, plus approximately $66 campus fees, plus $2 SIS Administrative fee.

IMIMPORTANT FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION
The myUCCS registration system will make it more feasible for most students to use their financial aid to pay Extended Studies tuition. We still recommend that you contact a financial aid counselor before enrolling, to make sure this enrollment will not negatively affect your financial aid, full-time status, etc.

TUITION INFORMATION
Tuition for Fall 2013 Extended Studies courses is due by September 12, 2013. Make sure to wait for your balance to appear in your online account before you make your payment. You may pay via credit card in your student account or by Electronic Funds Transfer; if you are not able to make your payment by either of these methods, please contact the Campus-Wide Extended Studies office at 719/255-3498 to set up a payment by another method. Do not wait to receive a bill; you may be charged late fees.

WITHDRAWAL INFORMATION
The withdrawal deadline for this course is September 12, 2013. If you are withdrawing before this date, you may withdraw in your student portal account and receive a full tuition refund. If you are withdrawing after this date, you must contact LAS Extended Studies at 719/255-4071 or
lases@uccs.edu to complete withdrawal paperwork; you will not receive a full tuition refund if you withdraw after this date.

Note to STUDENT SUCCESS: this course is restricted to non-degree-seeking students. Regular degree-seeking students at UCCS should register for the main campus section, MUS 2210-001.
