A review of basic algebra and arithmetic, including algebra of polynomials, factorization of simple polynomials, arithmetic operations on fractions and rational expressions, laws of exponents, linear equations and inequalities in one variable, quadratic equations using factoring.

The tuition for Spring 2014 sections is $480, plus $21 (approx) Extended Studies campus fees, plus $8 SIS Administrative fee. To register, enter your myUCCS student portal and register as you would for a regular course. You will have the option of adding yourself to a waitlist if your preferred section is full. This course is approved for Financial Aid through UCCS, and therefore these credit hours may count toward a full-time UCCS student's load. Please contact a Financial Aid counselor if you have any questions related to financial aid.
Tuition for Spring 2014 Extended Studies courses is due by February 5, 2014. Balances for Spring 2014 registrations will post by approximately January 3, 2014 for registrations completed before this date. Balances will post immediately for registrations completed after this date. Make sure to wait for your balance to appear in your online account before you make your payment. You may pay via credit card in your student account or by Electronic Funds Transfer; if you are not able to make your payment by either of these methods, please contact the Campus-Wide Extended Studies office at 719/255-3498 to set up a payment by another method. Do not wait to receive a bill; you may be charged late fees.
The withdrawal deadline for Spring 2014 is February 5, 2014. If you are withdrawing before this date, you may withdraw in your student account and receive a full tuition refund. If you are withdrawing after this date, you must contact LAS Extended Studies at 719/255-4071 or email@example.com to complete withdrawal paperwork; you will not receive a full tuition refund if you withdraw after this date.
