The Colorado Springs Undergraduate Research Forum (CSURF) is a collaborative venture designed to highlight the accomplishments of undergraduates from Colorado College, the United States Air Force Academy, and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. In its tenth year, the conference has grown to over 450 participants and continues to reflect the commitment and dedication of our faculty and staff to our students from all disciplines.

     In Memory, Norman J. Bender

Norman Bender, a founding member of the Department of History, died Feb. 15 in Colorado Springs. He was 85. Survivors include his wife, Eugenia; a son, Norman C.; a daughter, Elizabeth C. Dass to Exhibit Photographs at Fine Art Center

  Congratulations to Biology Assoc. Prof. Andy Subudhi for receiving this year's Innovations in Teaching with Technology Award!

The Innovations in Teaching with Technology Award recognizes innovative teaching practices through the use of technology. Candidates will be judged on their innovative uses of technology in teaching that involve the integration of technology and pedagogy, the novel use or adaptation of technology, or creative contribution to one's academic discipline.

  VAPA Lecuterer Has Work on Display

Senga Negundi-Fittz, lecturer, Department of Visual and Performing Arts, has several pieces of her work on display at the Thomas Erben Gallery, New York City through Feb. 23. The exhibit, "Senga Nengudi: Performances 1976-81" features photographs of Negundi-Fittz as well as her sculptures made of sand-filled and stretched pantyhose.
