Peer Institutions

Peer institutions are used for comparative data analyses. Approved by the UCCS administration, the President's Office, and the Board of Regents, the peer institutions are selected based on factors such as student population, city population, type of institution, and academic programs. The name of the institution is preceded by its basic Carnegie Classification (ML = Master's Large, RU/H = Research University with high research activity, and DRU = Doctoral/Research Univiersity). More information is posted online at Carnegie Classifications.
