UCCS Serves… /10 a.m. – 3 p.m./Upper Lodge

Meet UCCS students, faculty and staff at the Upper Lodge for a day of giving back to the Colorado Springs community. Breakfast will be served, and then participants will be broken into different teams with each group going out into the Colorado Springs community to volunteer for a non-profit organization for the day! TESSA Drive and Photograph with Cardboard Cutout of Chancellor Shockley-Zalabak / Café 65/ 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

The Respect on Campus committee is hosting a drive for TESSA. Bring any of the following items and you will be able to have your picture taken with the cardboard cutout of the Chancellor and will also be eligible to win a prize for best photo:

· Garbage bags

· Toilet Paper and Paper Towels

· Pillows, washcloths and towels

· Hairbrushes and hair ties

· Night lights

· Calendars/planners

· Tooth brushes

· Razors

· Feminine products

· Cleaning products and laundry soap

· Sanitary gloves

· New undergarments (all sizes)

Students will gather and line up at the Housing Quad Turf area and will then march together to the 4 Diamond Spots Complex for a brief tailgate party, where students will receive a free “keep calm and march on” T-shirt.
