History Colorado, the new name for the Colorado Historical Society, was established in 1879. Located at at 12th and Broadway in Denver’s Golden Triangle Museum District, the History Colorado Center houses new exhibitions, education/public programs, the Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation, the State Historical Fund, the Stephen H. Hart Research Library, and other History Colorado functions. The Writing Center is located in Columbine Hall 316, or we can be reached by phone at 719-255-4336. The Writing Center offers students:individualized assistance with writing across the curriculum, peer group writing support, small group workshops, technology-based instruction and outreach, and informational resources.
