The department offers professional development opportunities to current graduate students by providing occasions to guest lecture in undergraduate history classrooms. - Presenting at Annual Conferences
The department provides and supports students to gaining invaluable professional skills by presenting their research at conferences. Travel funds are set aside to assist students (on a competitive basis). - Teaching Assistantships
Teaching Assistantships are awarded on a competitive basis to currently enrolled UCCS graduate students in the Department of History before the commencement of each academic year. - Writing Center Consultants
