Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center

World-class art museum, theatre company and art school. Galleries feature outstanding collections of American, Native American and Hispanic art.

Cottonwood Center for the Arts

Cottonwood Center for the Arts has two main galleries. Check out the galleries and studios during the last Friday of each month's open house. Get to know local artists. You might even end up purchasing a piece.

I.D.E.A Space

Colorado College's I.D.E.A (InterDisciplinary Experimental Arts) integrates the visual arts into campus and community life. Through innovative collaborations, visual art exhibitions, performances, speakers, and events, I.D.E.A. programs encourage impassioned dialogues and interdisciplinary investigations that extend far beyond gallery walls.

Marmalade at Smokebrush

Smokebrush came to life as a Community Arts Foundation in 1992. Involved in the local and professional theater scene, the foundation also spearheaded workshops, exhibitions, a Children's Theater series, world-class concerts and numerous community art projects.

The MODBO

The Modbo (Modern Bohemian) and S.P.Q.R. are art galleries, painting studios, art classrooms, music studios, poetry venues, and musical venues.

Money Museum

The Money Museum, located next to the Colorado Springs Fine Arts, focuses on expanding exhibits which emphasize the knowledge and exchange of money, its history, significance and function. The museum seeks to promote the individual and social understanding of economic connections.

Colorado Springs Philharmonic

The Philharmonic's vision is to be the epicenter of music and culture in Southern Colorado offering a vibrant performance calendar including a Masterworks, Pops, and Vanguard series in addition to an array of education and family concerts.

Emerging Pictures

Emerging Pictures supports the largest all-digital Specialty Film and Alternate Content theater network in the United States including a network of arts institutions, media arts centers and independent art house theaters, tied together through digital technology. Their "Opera in Cinema" and "Ballet in Cinema" series features renowned productions from European theatres including the Mariinsky Theatre, Teatro Alla Scalla, and Convent Garden. Metropolitan Opera Live in HD Series

The Met: Live in HD's 2012-13 Season Features 12 Live Transmissions, Including Seven New Productions (Two of Which Are Met Premieres). Check out the website for the performance schedule. Central City Opera

Central City Opera House Association is the nation's fifth-oldest opera company, located just 35 miles west of Denver in one of Colorado's official National Landmark Historic Districts. The company continues to present artistically excellent professional opera in an annual summer festival.

Curious Theatre Company (Denver)

Feminism + Co. (Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver

Feminism & Co. is a program series that investigates issues relating to women and gender. Using creative performances, lectures and discussions, these evenings address women’s (and men’s) complicated relationship to art, politics and sexuality.

Opera Colorado

Opera Colorado is an opera company located in Denver, Colorado. Founded in 1981, it presents an annual season of three to four fully staged productions. Its primary performance venue is the Ellie Caulkins Opera House.

Violet against Women Project (Museum of Contemporary Art, Denver)

Violet Against Women is an online project in the form of a blog by artist Ellina Kevorkian. In 2010, Kevorkian organized a one-night event of video and performance called Violet Against Women: Confronting Notions of the Feminine in Los Angeles. Kevorkian included artists who used humor or a sense of theatricality in their work. Following the event, Kevorkian and Elissa Auther, co-curator of Feminism + Co., began a conversation about Violet and the possibility of bringing it to Museum of Contemporary Art Denver.
