1. Open your harddrive icon on your desktop or open Finder.

2. Open Applications and then Open Internet Connect.

3. Click the File menu and select "New VPN Connection". Select PPTP and click Continue.

4. Type vpn.wireless.uccs.edu for Server address. Insert ufp\your IT username for Account Name. Insert your IT password for Password. Click the drop down menu Configuration and choose Edit Configuration.

5. Type UCCS Wireless VPN in the Save As field. Click the Save button.

6. Click OK.

Connecting the VPN
7. Open your harddrive icon on your desktop.

8. Open Applications and then Open Internet Connect.

9. Click to select the correct VPN. The server address is vpn.wireless.uccs.edu. Click the Connect button.

10. Verify the connection is established. The status will say Connected To.

You can now access:
Option 1: Connecting to the Library
11. With a web browser, go to http://www.uccs.edu/library. Click Periodical Indexes by Name or Subject or Print and Electronic Journal Holdings.

12. Click the Disconnect button when you're finished.

Option 2: Student IT accounts on Excelsior
13. Click on your desktop to enable Finder. Click Go and select Connect to Server.

14. Insert cifs://excelsior.uccs.edu/students$ for Server Address. Click the + icon to add the server connection to your favorites. Click the Connect button.

15. Insert UFP for Workgroup/Domain. Insert your username for Account Name. Insert your password for Password. Click the OK button.

16. An icon that says STUDENTS will appear on the desktop.
17. Open the STUDENTS folder to access Student IT folders.
18. Click the Disconnect button when you're finished.

Option 3: Faculty and Staff IT accounts on Enterprise
19. Click on your desktop to enable Finder. Click Go and select Connect to Server.

20. Insert cifs://enterprise.uccs.edu/faculty$ for Server Address. Click the + icon to add the server connection to your favorites. (Replace faculty with staff for staff accounts.) Click the Connect button.

21. Insert UFP for Workgroup/Domain. Insert your username for Account Name. Insert your password for Password. Click the OK button.

22. An icon that says FACULTY will appear on the desktop (or STAFF if appropriate).
23. Open the FACULTY (or STAFF) folder to access the IT folders.
24. Click the Disconnect button when you're finished.
