IT Purchasing Assistance

The Purchasing Process for IT


    • We are available to consult for purchasing assistance with computers, printers, smartphones and monitors. When you are ready to place your order, you will do so through your department admin or through the CU M@rketplace inside of your CU Portal.

      • First, we will work with you to determine what will best suit your needs and your budget.
      • Most equipment can be purchased from direct from Dell via the CU M@rketplace
      • Once your order is placed all of your equipment will be shipped directly to you.
      • Upon arrival of your computer print and complete the Computer Build Sheet.  This sheet tells us everything you want installed on your new computer.
      • Notify the IT Help Desk at ext 3536 we will pick up your computer and build with all university provided and required software, as well as, any additional software you have purchased.  This normally takes 2 days for recommended computers and up to 2 weeks for non-recommended computers.  Click Here to see hardware recommendations
      • As soon as we are done building your computer we will notify you via voicemail or email.  We recommend that we will deliver your new computer and help you get all your new equipment setup.  However, you are free to pickup the computer from the Help Desk.
