+ Graduate Student Fellowships

The Fellowships are merit-based awards that contribute to educating graduate students and moving the university research mission forward. Students must be fully admitted to an on-campus graduate program, and be engaged in full (5 or more credits/semester) or part time (1 to 4 credits/semester) study to be eligible for the fellowship. If the graduate student fails to meet the credit/semester requirement, the fellowship is forfeited.  Awards are approximately $5,000 each. Ask your program of interest for more details

+ Need-Based Aid (FAFSA)

FAFSA must be received and processed by the University and the student must be admitted into their degree program no later than March 1st in order to receive need-based aid (with the exclusion of Stafford loans). UCCS's school code is 004509.

Educational awards are available for students through programs in the Beth El College of Nursing, College of Education and Psychology Department. Awards range from $1,000 to $2,300 depending on the length of service completed.  Students do not receive awards until service is completed and they can only be applied to educational costs, such as repayment of federal student loans. The enrollment process can be lengthy, so students are encouraged to contact their program immediately to learn more.
