The Geology minor requres a minimum of 19 credit hours of GES course work including a minimum of 11 credit hours of upper-division (3000+ level) GES course work.  All courses must have a C- or better grade.  

All courses in Core 1 and 2 are required for a minor in geology.

All courses in Core 1 must be completed before beginning Core 2.

Required classes total 16 credits.  One elective class, 3000 level or higher, must be completed after completed Core 2.  Students will have a total of 19-20 hours based on the student's elective selection.
