Research Projects:

• Assessment of geography content students will need to understand the earth and its inhabitants and development of resources for primary and secondary teachers to ensure productive learning.
• Longitudinal study of experiences of foreign-born early-career geography faculty teaching in United States institutions of higher education
• Intersection of and tension among globalization, internationalization, and diversity on United States college campuses
• Connections and disparities between expectations of higher education institutions and precollegiate education programs
• Ability of local government to provide quality public services
