Take Back the Tap: Hydration Initiative

The Take Back the Tap Initiative proposed that by 2014, UCCS would not sell bottle water on campus. Installing hydration stations across campus is in effort to create a campus where bringing a water bottle is easy and efficient. 


Water bottle spouts and hydration stations are being installed across campus in various areas including: Columbine, Main Hall, The Campus Services Building, Dwire Hall, Cragmor Hall, University Hall, The Osborn Center, and The Engineering Building.

Bottle vs. Tap taste testing and Hydration Celebration: January 22, 2013 in Columbine, 1-3 PM
Hydration Station Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: February 1st, 2013 in Columbine @ 11:30 AM
(both events will be at the Columbine hydration station, 2nd floor around the corner from the main entrance)
**SEAS will be distributing FREE Reusable Water Bottles in celebration of Take Back the Tap!**
