Pikes Peak, Red Rock Canyon, School in the Woods. What's your special place in Colorado? This course will examine the relationship between self and the environment. How does the place we live affect us? What makes Colorado a special place? How have people changed the environment of Colorado? Colorado Living & Recreation will be organized around field trips and outdoor activities, including an overnight camping trip. Readings, discussions, collaborative work, a service project and presentations will be used to generate deeper reflection about our place in Colorado and how we, and others, interact with it.
