National Honor Society for First-Year Students

Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD) is a national honor society for first-year students and is by invitation-only. First semester freshmen receiving a 3.5 GPA or higher will be invited to join ALD in the spring of each year. Invitations are e-mailed to students in January and the 2013 annual induction ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 30 at the Upper Lodge from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Membership in Alpha Lambda Delta shows that you are a highly successful college student and, as such, is a fabulous resume-builder. Additionally, members get all of the support and recognition that comes from being part of a recognized, well-established Society with over 900,000 lifetime members. But the benefits don’t end there:

            ALD offers over $150,000 in scholarships and fellowships!
            ALD members are entitled to wear ALD regalia at graduation!
Take part in local and national service projects!
Connect with a nation-wide network of exceptional students!
