The mission of the Faculty Resource Center is to provide faculty with the instructional resources and support to explore and implement innovative teaching practices. The Center provides consultation, programs, and training.

The Center is a faculty-focused, collaborative endeavor to promote effective teaching, with special emphasis on technology-enhanced, hybrid, and online courses. The Center supports new ways of teaching and learning, including creative approaches to faculty-student engagement, course design and implementation, and the seamless integration of technology into the academic environment.

David Anderson, Director David Anderson, PhD, Senior Faculty Associate to Information Technology, Director of the Faculty Resource Center, and Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, has over 30 years of experience developing and implementing technology in teaching and learning. He has received several campus and system-wide awards for his pioneering work in technology. 255-3154 or danderso@uccs.edu

Kathryn Andrus, Instructional Technologist Kathryn Andrus, PhD, formerly the Director of the Faculty Resource Center, is now an Instructional Technologist with a specialty in multimedia. She has taught at UCCS for over 25 years and online for 8. Her courses have included topics in Art, Art History, Interdisciplinary Core Humanities, and Freshman Seminar. 255-4108 or kandrus@uccs.edu

Sharon Stevens, Online Teaching Specialist Sharon Stevens is the Online Teaching Specialist for the Faculty Resource Center. She has been assisting faculty with online courses and technology integration for over 20 years. Student Assistants

Mason Mason is excited to work at the Faculty Resource Center. His degree in Information Systems applies directly to his work within the Center. Keegan With a background in audio/visual production and editing, and academic instruction in computer programming, Keegan enjoys working at the Faculty Resource Center.
