The UCCS Promise helps eligible low income families who are Colorado residents meet the cost of tuition, books and fees. Students must meet priority date and enroll full-time to be eligible for the UCCS Promise.

For students who:

• Are in-state undergraduate students
• Are first-time freshmen OR transfer from a Colorado community college
• Have a family income at or below 150% the poverty guidelines determined by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
• Enroll full-time (12 credit hours)
• Are Pell eligible

That also meet the following application dates*:

• File the FAFSA by March 1st*
• Complete the UCCS scholarship application by March 1st
• Be admitted to UCCS by April 1st*

The University will guarantee that a combination of federal and state grants, institutional grants, and work study earnings will cover the entire cost of tuition, fees, and books.

*Those admitted after April 1st and those that file their FAFSA after March 1st will be considered if additional funding becomes available.
