About Teacher CadetThe Teacher Cadet program aims to attract talented young people into the teaching profession and strengthen a career pathway in teacher education.

- To provide students with a guided classroom internship
- To strengthen a career pathway in teacher education that links high schools, college teacher education programs and the classroom
UCCS CourseUCCS College of Education offers a course designed to allow high school students, in the Teacher Cadet Program at their high school, to earn concurrent college credit. Teacher Cadets participate and complete course requirement for TED 4520-Educational Psychology class and apply Teacher Cadet activities and assignments towards specified, corresponding TED 4520 course requirements.
