Graduate Certificate courses are taught by full-time, doctorally qualified faculty of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.

Course Curriculum

Each graduate certificate consists of 12 hours of graduate course work in a specific field of study, in addition to any required prerequisites.
  • OPTM 6300/6390 Managing Projects for Competitive Advantage
  • OPTM 6490 Organizational Skills for Project Management
  • OPTM 6590 Project Estimation and Risk Management
  • OPTM 6690 Bridging Strategy and Tactics in Project Management
*Prerequisites: ACCT 5500/5590 and QUAN 5500/5590 are prerequisites for OPTM 6300/6390. OPTM 6300/6390 or instructor's approval, is a prerequisite for OPTM 6490. OPTM 6300/6390 is a prerequisite for OPTM 6590. OPTM 6300/6390 is a prerequisite for OPTM 6690.

Gainful Employment Programs are standalone Title IV-eligible Certificate Programs. Title IV Programs are eligible for Federal Student Aid Grants, Federal Student Aid Loans or Federal Student Aid Work-Study.
