Kramer Family Library Computing Commons

The UCCS Information Technology Department operates an open lab in the Kramer Family Library which is available for use by current UCCS students, faculty, and staff.  The IT Lab Computers are located on the second and third floors of the El Pomar Center and Kramer Family Library, and include quiet-study areas and group-study rooms.  The computing commons are equipped with Windows PC and Apple iMac work stations that include access to Paw Prints.  Lab Advisors are on duty at the Computer Assistance Desk to help answer your questions.

Computer Assistance Desk

Student advisors are on duty at the Computer Assistance Desk to support IT Lab users.  They can help answer questions and solve most problems with the IT Lab computers and Paw Prints system.  If you have problems logging in, printing, running the software you need, or finding access to a group study room, the Lab Advisors are there to help.

Group Study Rooms with Computers

Rooms 212, 213, 214, 216, 217, 226, 227, 228, 229, 312, 313, and 314 in the El Pomar Center contain 2 PCs per room designated for group study (two or more persons).

Public Access Computers

Computers for general public use (non UCCS personnel) are located near the west entrance to the Kramer Family Library next to the Library Reference Desk. These computers have Internet access, but limited software access.

Multimedia Lab

The Multimedia Lab in room 238 is equipped with PC's containing additional software and hardware for the purpose of video editing and graphic design.

Assistive Technology Lab (AT Lab)

The Assistive Technology Lab provides hardware and software for students with a qualifying physical, visual and/or learning/reading disability. Five stations are available with a wide array of technologies to help these members of our campus. The AT Lab is located in the El Pomar Center, Room 215.
