Scheduled Course Offerings

The department uses the following scheme for course scheduling:
  • Core lower division courses are offered every term (specifically, this includes Econ 1010 and Econ 2020
  • Core upper division courses are offered on a two terms, one term off schedule (specifically, this includes Econ 3010 and Econ 3020)
    • For instance, since Econ 3010 is offered both Fall 2011 and Spring 2012, it will no be offered Fall 2012.
  • Advanced core theory courses (Econ 4010 and Econ 4020) are scheduled to be offered during the term when intermediate level theory course is not offered.
  • Other courses are intended to be offered on an every third term rotation.
  • Scheduling conflicts, faculty sabbaticals, ect. may preclude the scheduling plan from being followed.
Students are encouraged to direct scheduling quesitons and concerns to the head of the department.

  • Econ 3020: Intermediate Macroeconomies
  • Econ 3610: Work and Pay
  • Econ 3870: Behavioral Economics
  • Econ 4100: Advanced Microeconomic Theory
  • Econ 4210: Economics of the Public Sector II
  • Econ 4510: Constitution and the Economy
  • Econ 4530: Power and Prosperity
