- Download and install the latest version of NX Client for Windows from here.


- Configure NX Client to connect to LATS
- Run NX Connection Wizard.

- Name your session (i.e., LATS), and enter lats1.uccs.edu as the host name. Select the type of your Internet connection and click Next.

- Use GNOME as the desktop environment and graphical user interface.

- Default settings will create a shortcut on your Desktop.

- Run NX Connection Wizard.
- Connecting to LATS
- Double click the shortcut created in last step, and then enter your UCCS password.

- You may need to accept the connection encryption code.

- CentOS Linux Gnome Desktop will now be displayed.

- Double click the shortcut created in last step, and then enter your UCCS password.
