A graduate applicant for admission to the College of Engineering & Applied Science will need to submit paperwork outlined in the following pages in order to be considered for admission into the Department of Computer Science, the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, or the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. For Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science, a completed application, including all supporting documentation, should be submitted 60 days prior to the term for which admission is sought, although applications are reviewed on a continual basis and will be considered if this deadline is not met. For Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, applications will be accepted up until March 1 for admission to the Summer or Fall semesters and October 1 for admission to the Spring semester.

Domestic Application Process
For domestic applicants, 3 types of applications are available: Regular Admission, Guaranteed Early Admission, and Fast Track Admission. The Regular Admission Process is for people who have never attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, or who have not attended the College of Engineering & Applied Science at UCCS in the past 4 years. The Guaranteed Early Admission Program is designed to offer outstanding students enrolled in their final semester in the College of Engineering & Applied Science at UCCS guaranteed and expedited admission. The Fast Track Admission Program is designed to offer a simplified admission process to former undergraduate students that have graduated from the College of Engineering & Applied Science at UCCS no more than four years prior to the time of application. Please see below for the type of application that meets your particular situation.
