Colorado Council for Learning Disabilities (CCLD)
The scholarship is open to Colorado residents currently enrolled in teacher preparation programs in an accredited college or university in Colorado. Applicants must be working towards a generalist license and have completed at least one half of their program plan of study.
National Federation of the Blind
To recognize achievement by blind scholars, the National Federation of the Blind annually offers blind college students in the United States and Puerto Rico the opportunity to win one of thirty merit-based, national-level scholarships worth from $3,000 to $12,000. All scholarships awarded are based on academic excellence, community service, and leadership.
Rise Scholarship Foundation
The RiSE Scholarship Foundation, Inc. was established in 2010 to reward students with learning disabilities, who have shown determination, self-advocacy and success in overcoming their difficulties and are pursuing post-secondary education. RiSE Scholarship Foundation Inc. aims to offer meaningful scholarships to award the success of students, to bring awareness, and education to the subject of learning disabilities.
