
The summit is a one-day, community-wide educational event to highlight and to develop culturally responsive teaching, student support and leadership practices that advance the integration of diversity and cultural awareness, knowledge and skills within student learning. The summit will be open to all UCCS faculty and staff, and selected graduate students.
Limited registrations are available for educators and community members beyond UCCS.
Admission is free, but registration is required • Lunch will be provided. • Optional continuing education credit is also available.
When: Thursday, April 18, 2013, 8:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.
Where: Berger Hall, University of Colorado Colorado Springs
UCCS faculty and staff from all colleges and other educators are invited to propose presentations for the summit.
Proposals are due by January 25, 2013.
