The Center for Space Studies at UCCS promotes and supports basic and applied research that addresses current and future technology and policy issues and provides the basis for new and updated programs of advanced space education.

CSS-sponsored facilities include a brand-new state-of-the-art Space Simulation Laboratory capable of generating a comprehensive space environment from Low Earth Orbit (LEO) to High Earth Orbit (HEO) including thermal, charging, and plasma effects.
