Dr. Abby Ferber: Beggars and Choosers

Dr. Abby Ferber is widely recognized as
a leading scholar of the far right, and her articles have been widely published
in academic journals as well as news outlets. She is a frequent
presenter at the meetings of the American Sociological Association and the
Society for the Study of Social Problems. She will use the CSGI Grant for the exhibit and symposia: "Beggars and Choosers."

Dr. Paul Harvey: Human/Civil Rights Research

Since 1996 Dr. Harvey has been a professor of history at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. He is the author of Redeeming the
South (University of North Carolina Press, 1997) and the
forthcoming Freedom's
Coming (University of North Carolina Press, 2005). He will use the CSGI Grant to research "Religion, Race and American Ideas of Freedom: from the 17th. Century to the Present."

Dr. Tom Huber: Radon Research

Dr. Huber's research interests are in remote sensing, image processing, soils / geomorphology, and the geography and landscapes of Colorado. He has written seven books and innumerable articles in these areas. He will use the CSGI Grant to research "Radon Distribution and Hazard in Colorado Springs."
