Dr. Tom Huber: Radon Research

Area of Research: Radon Distribution and Hazard in Colorado Springs

Professor Tom Huber received his Bachelor of Science in Geography from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1969. He attended Syracuse University for his MA in Geography in 1976. He taught geography at the USAFA from 1977 to 1980. Dr. Huber received his PhD from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1980. He taught at Colgate University. In 1980-81 and came to UCCS in the summer of 1981. He has been in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies to the present time. His research interests are in remote sensing, image processing, soils/geomorphology, and the geography and landscapes of Colorado. He has written seven books and innumerable articles in these areas. He will use the CSGI Grant to research "Radon Distribution and Hazard in Colorado Springs."
