Dr. James A. Null, Executive Director of the U.C.C.S. Center for the Study of Government and the Individual awarded 5 grants totaling $26,650.
The grants were awarded to the faculty members as follows:
Dr. Donald E. Klingner, G.S.P.A. Professor, “Public Management Implications of Homeland Security” ($5,400).
- Dr. Abby Ferber, Associate Professor, Director of Women’s Studies and Co- Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Diversity and Development, “Beggars and Choosers: Exhibit and Symposia” ($5,000).
- Michael McLeod, J.D., G.S.P.A. Instructor, to teach the course “Rethinking Social Policy” ($6,000).
- Dr. Paul Harvey, Associate Professor, History Department, “Religion, Race and American Ideas of Freedom: from the 17th. Century to the Present” ($6,000).
- Dr. Thomas Huber, Professor, Geography Department, “Radon Distribution and Hazard in Colorado Springs” ($4,250).
