High-Performance Computing Resources Are Available in Colorado !!  

A research talk presented by Dr. Bruce Loftis, a Computational Scientist at CU Boulder

Abstract: Bruce Loftis from the Research Computing Group at University of Colorado Boulder will describe HPC resources that UCCS researchers can access.  These include the NSF-funded XSEDE project and the new Summit system in Boulder.   We will discuss training needs and opportunities and explore ways that our Colorado campuses can work together.

Bio: Bruce Loftis is a Computational Scientist at CU Boulder.  He has a PhD in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University with a focus on Water Resources and Operations Research.  His career has mostly been leading User Support groups at NSF-funded HPC centers.  He recently retired from the University of Tennessee.  But retirement didn't take.
