Biographical Sketch

Professor Wiener received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from City College of New York, and his Ph.D. in System Science from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn. He joined the faculty at UCCS in 1977. Dr. Wiener was the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Object-Oriented Programming and is now the Editor-In-Chief of the Journal of Object Technology published by the ETH in Zurich. Dr. Wiener has authored or co-authored 22 books published by John Wiley, Addison-Wesley, Prentice-Hall, Cambridge University Press, and most recently, Thompson Course Technology.
