Just like the brochure, a newsletter can be done in a variety of formats. Again, we would suggest using a program like Microsoft Publisher, but you can use Word, Adobe products and others. A simple thing to remember when designing a newsletter is to remember not to think too hard. You wouldn't believe how many of our customers make it difficult for themselves by over-thinking their designs. If you want a newsletter that is either 8.5 x 11" or a newsletter that is 5.5 x 8.5" the setup is going to be the same. All you have to do is format your pages as 8.5 x 11". From there the printer can be programmed to print your document in booklet style. This means it can print your pages on an 11 x 17" sheet or an 8.5 x 11" sheet folded in the middle to create a booklet or magazine style document perfect for newsletters and programs. The second most important thing to think about is that your total number of pages should be divisible by 4. This is important because there should be text on all of the pages, and when a document is printed in booklet style it places 4 pages on one sheet of paper.
