The Air Force Academy is the area's No. 1 man-made attraction with over 1.4 million visitors per year.
Highlights: Visitor Center, Cadet Chapel, Cadet Field House, B-52 Bomber
Directions: Take I-25 north to Exit 156B (Gleneagle/AFA North Gate), follow Northgate Boulevard through the front gates and stay on it as it turns into Academy Drive. It will wind around south and take you past the Cadet Field House, the Cadet Chapel and the Visitor Center, all on the east side of the road.

Security: Stop at the gate. Soldiers will ask your destination and for a photo ID. The only buildings open to the public are the Visitor Center, Arnold Hall, Planetarium, Cadet Chapel and Cadet Field House. Admission: Free

Disability/Access: The Visitor Center and Cadet Field House both have access ramps. There is an elevator in the rear of the Cadet Chapel. To access it, call the chapel and arrange to have an attendant meet you.
