Throughout the past several years, Ms. Blackmann has enjoyed teaching courses in the areas of group communication, interpersonal communication, public speaking, life assessment, research and analysis, communication theory, nonverbal communication and persuasion.
She not only enjoys teaching but considers it an honor to be part of students' achieving their goals of higher education and enhancing their lives. Her research interests are in effective teaching methods, communication apprehension, and inspirational communication.
Reading, journaling, scrapbooking, decorating, and shopping for antiques are her favorite past times.
Although she enjoys these and her job, her primary interests are spending time with her husband, Glen, and their three children Michelle, Cory and Alex. They all love camping, baseball, traveling and just hanging out.
