Dr. Saunders served with the United States Air Force as a chaplain for 22 years; following his Air Force career he received his Master's Degree from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs CHS department. He has spent his second career working as a therapist in the area of substance abuse with soldiers returning from the war zone for Penrose-St. Francis Behavioral Health here in the Springs. He recently completed his doctorate in Counseling Psychology.
