Katie L. Anderson-Pence is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction in the College of Education at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She teaches courses in Elementary Mathematics Education the Teacher Education Program. Katie received her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Mathematics Education and Leadership from Utah State University in 2014. Her research interests include: technology—including virtual manipulatives, classroom discourse, and teacher development. She joined the Teacher Education Program at UCCS in 2014.
