Stephanie Dewing is an instructor and site professor for the Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education. Stephanie has taught high school Spanish, English, English as a second language, and social studies. She has also taught English as a second language to adults as part of an intensive English program. Stephanie has been involved in teacher training in the culturally and linguistically diverse education program at UCCS since 2003 and is committed to helping teachers and future teachers acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to work effectively with their English learners. As site professor, Stephanie has worked closely with teacher candidates in two different local elementary schools, one of which is a Montessori school.
