Gregory Button is an instructor in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. As a faculty member, his goal is to contribute to the development of excellent teachers.
Dr. Button was a previously a public school teacher, department chair, and curriculum coordinator, and was also a member of the school district teacher negotations team and served on the grievance committee. He was a faculty member at Aims Community College and the University of Northern Colorado where he was a member of the Secondary Professional Teacher Education Team and a University Consultant for grades K-12 for seven years. He also taught undergraduate courses in the foundations of education and graduate level curriculum and instruction courses at UNC.
Dr. Button is currently a Professional Development School Site Professor, student advisor for the Teacher Education Program and the Alternative Licensure ProgramEd. D.

Teachers and teaching are the core of the educational process. This process is fundamental to democracy, and teacher education produces informed, confident and capable citizens for the community at large.
