Randall L. De Pry, Department of Special Education, presented at the 3rd Annual Colorado Positive Behavior Support Symposium on July 24-25, 2007. His presentation topics included: Effective Instructional and Behavioral Feedback within a PBS School and Students with Chronic or Persistent Challenging Behavior: Providing Differentiated Support that Promotes Learning and Inclusion.

As a member of the State Leadership Team for the Colorado School wide. Positive Behavior Support Initiative, Randy joined with his colleagues in welcoming John H. Hager, Assistant Secretary, Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, U.S. Department of Education to the conference. Assistant Secretary Hager and Anne Todd from the Office of Special Education Program's Technical Assistance Center on Positive Behavior Supports and Interventions met with the State Leadership Team and discussed current and future directions for PBS implementation in the state of Colorado.

For the 2007-2008 academic year 510 schools from all eight regions of Colorado will be implementing school-wide PBS.
