UCCS partners with Pikes Peak BOCES (PPBOCES) to provide this program to allow working professionals in other fields to make a career transition to education.
Students may register for just the program itself through the BOCES, or they may also register for UCCS credit.
There are three graduate credit hours available through UCCS for each course; this is a 5 semester program. However, there are 6 semesters required for the Special Education TIRP program. For cost information, please visit with a representative from the Campus Wide Extended Studies office.
Additionally, 9 credit hours can be transferred into the Masters in Curriculum & Instruction which must be the first 9 credit hours (3 courses) of the program.
There is a regular Education and a Special Education strand of this program.
For more information on this exciting program, please visit the TIRP website.
